This author is outstanding in her insight and gifted story telling skills. This book takes the reader to great highs and lows along with the main character. This truly a gifted author and I look forward to reading her next book.
This compelling story is the most imaginative and descriptive novel by a first-time author I have ever come across. The characters are craftily infused with utterly believable strengths and weaknesses, which make them easily identifiable. The plot is compelling, taking the reader on a fantastic journey that hooks you from the very first page. I have never read any author matching the literary skill necessary to describe the unimaginable pathos of losing a child, and what the resulting grief and transcendent spirituality propels the main character to achieve. Drinda Jean possesses this unparalleled skill. I can hardly wait for the next installment from this author. Well done.
This book is well written....intelligence without boring the reader. The story line is superb and it was a book I could not put down once I started it. I am looking forward to the next one.
This book was really amazing. I thought several times throughout the book that I knew its direction, but was just as quickly put back in place. I appreciate and respect the overall message of this story, and I feel that if most people in the world could embrace that message, our world would be far more peaceful and an overall better place to live. As intelligent as I 'think' I am, I was grateful for the things that I learned. I am a righteous, yet, humble woman and this book was a validation of my strength as well as my humility. This book left me feeling hopeful and optimistic, and a little bit smarter. I can't wait for the next installment.
